Genelec 4410A Smart IP 2-Way Installation Speaker (Raw)

Overview

The Genelec 4410A is the most compact speaker in the Smart IP installation range. One CAT cable carries power, audio and control: the speaker runs on PoE+ or PoE from a network switch or injector and plays Dante or AES67 streams. A 3 in woofer and a 3/4 in metal dome tweeter each have their own 18 W Class D amplifier inside a recycled die-cast aluminium enclosure. Installers set up rooms, zones, room EQ, delay and level in Genelec Smart IP Manager software, and a public API lets house automation systems control the speakers. Its only connection is one RJ45 network port, and it has no analogue input. It comes in black, white and RAW unpainted aluminium and is made in Finland.

• Dante and AES67 input: Plays Dante, AES67 and ST2110-30 streams at 32 to 96 kHz and 16 to 24 bit, using one channel or the sum of two.
• Stored power for peaks: The internal power supply stores energy for audio peaks and reaches 96 dB short-term SPL at 1 m on PoE+.
• Built-in room correction: 20 parametric filters, delay up to 98 ms and level alignment, set in Smart IP Manager and stored in the speaker.
• Zones and profiles: Each zone holds up to five profiles that recall acoustic settings, input selection, level and delay.
• Controlled dispersion: Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) and Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE) design, with 130 degrees horizontal and 110 degrees vertical dispersion.
• Intelligent Signal Sensing: ISS drops the speaker to a 3 W standby when no audio is present and wakes it on an incoming stream or an API command.
• Mounting points: Two rear M6 threads take Genelec wall, ceiling and truss mounts, and a 3/8 in UNC thread on the base fits certain microphone stands for extra support.
