Just One of the preamps is a little noisy, and I think one other doesn’t work. but that's the only issue.
If you use Pro Tools in Rosetta, this thing gives you way more capability than an S3. If not, you can run it in HUI mode. There are also third-party apps that let you integrate it with future versions of Pro Tools and other DAWs.
Those are going for around $3–5K, and that's pretty much just a controller. With the C24 you get stereo to 5.1 monitoring, 16 Focusrite preamps, 16 line inputs, 8 stereo summing, and a lot more.
Honestly, this thing is better than most controller/IO combos out today, all for a fraction of the price. It's way more than just a controller — it's also a great analog desk.
I'm only selling it because I moved my studio into a small apartment. If I had a bigger space, I'd definitely keep it.
