The E-1 Custom Special Edition balances ergonomic refinement with assertive tone, built for players who demand both comfortable upper-fret access and vintage-informed aesthetics. Its thin "C" neck profile and Ultra Access cutaway eliminate the compromise between playability and reach, while the quilted maple top finished in Vintage Sunburst signals serious construction without unnecessary flash.
Playability & FeelThe mahogany 3-piece neck measures .787" at the 1st fret and .866" at the 12th fret, providing a natural hand position throughout the neck. The 24.75" scale length, 22 jumbo frets, and 12"-16" compound radius ebony fretboard enable precise intonation and smooth bends across the entire range, while the Graph Tech XL Ivory Tusq nut (1.653" width) maintains stable tuning and balanced string spacing.
Tone & ElectronicsThe Schecter USA Sunset Strip™ bridge pickup and Schecter USA Pasadena™ neck pickup deliver articulate highs and warm lows with responsive dynamics. The TonePros T3BT TOM bridge with T1Z tailpiece ensures reliable sustain, while the volume/tone push-pull control with 3-way pickup selector allows focused tonal shaping without overcomplication.
