PRS Core Hollowbody II Piezo 2021 - Custom black

PRS Core Hollowbody II Piezo – 2021 – Custom Colour Black – USA

Beautiful 2021 PRS Core Hollowbody II Piezo in Custom Colour Black, made in the USA.

I purchased this guitar new in August 2022 for CHF 4,477 and have owned it from new. It has had remarkably little use: approximately 10 live performances, and otherwise has only been played occasionally at home.

Throughout my ownership it has been carefully stored in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment.

This is the USA-made Core Hollowbody II Piezo, not the SE model, and has the Custom Colour Black (CC Black) finish. The original purchase documentation identifies it as “Hollowbody II Piezo CC Black.” The high-gloss black finish combined with the natural wood visible through the f-holes makes it a particularly striking version of the Hollowbody II.

The guitar is in excellent overall condition. There are a couple of very small cosmetic nicks to the finish around the edge of the body, together with some very light surface marks consistent with careful use. I have deliberately photographed these areas closely so there are no surprises for the buyer. There are no known structural issues.

It plays beautifully and has had very little playing time. The combination of the magnetic pickups and the PRS/LR Baggs piezo system makes it an exceptionally versatile instrument, allowing both classic electric tones and convincing acoustic-style sounds from the same guitar.
