Featuring Beard’s open-soundwell interior architecture, a US-made Beard Legend cone, and a spider bridge setup, it delivers that rich, throat-y wooden "bark," long natural sustain, and cutting projection that bluegrass and lap-slide players demand.
This instrument has spent its entire life in a smoke-free, climate-controlled home music room alongside high-end Nationals and fine banjos, receiving exceptional care from day one.
Condition & Collector's Note
Maintenance & Setup: Freshly restrung with lap-slide strings, polished, and detailed. Equipped with a tall nut for slide playing—100% ready to take out of the case and play.
Heel Finish Check: There is a light, hairline lacquer/finish line in the clear coat around the neck heel joint. This is a common cosmetic finish check where the neck meets the body—the neck block and heel joint are completely rock-solid with zero structural movement under full string tension.
Overall: Gloss finish and chrome hardware are exceptionally clean with only minor handling wear from light home use.
