It was professionally serviced days prior to listing, is perfectly in tune, and sounds fantastic. The tone is warm and full with solid projection, and it feels comfortable under the fingers. Pitch holds across the range, the keys are regulated properly, the pads seal with no leaks, and the springs have a snappy, lively feel.The mechanism stays light and even, with no heavy spots and no sluggish return. Soft playing still speaks cleanly, and the horn stays composed when you put more air through it. The registers stay balanced, so nothing feels uneven as you move around. Low notes open up freely and the upper end keeps its core instead of thinning out.
