These stick bags are meticulously handcrafted one by one by artisans at Oda Tatami Shop, a long-established tatami shop in Nara Prefecture with over 120 years of history and run by the fourth generation of the family. Purely made in Japan.
This tatami mat surface uses a new material made by twisting machine-made washi paper (made from wood fiber raw materials) into a cord shape, coating it with resin, and then weaving it on a loom.
Compared to tatami mats made from rush grass, it is less prone to discoloration, has high durability, and is perfect for drummers who travel frequently.
This can hold four pairs of 5A size drumsticks.
