This is a ‘Rare One of’ beautiful Gibson ES175 modified clone by Australian Luthier Timo Tolvanen with a custom decal headstock!
It has a low profile short scale mahogany 12” radius neck with a rosewood fretboard and 32mm bone nut.
It originally had a floating bridge set up, like a Gibson, which are notorious for slipping, vibrating and going out of tune.
Most people anchor the bridge down through various after market methods!
I, in my wisdom, converted it into a tune-o-matic hard tail style bridge which works well with the solid wood block down the middle.
I swapped the pick-ups out for Seymour Duncan ‘59 in the neck and JB in the bridge.
This transformed the guitar into a Solid ‘Jazz Rock’ guitar.
The tuners were upgraded for Gold Grover’s and the frets re-levelled and re-crowned. Which allowed optimisation for a very low action with No fret buzz!
New CTS control pots with new tone caps were also upgraded.
Comes with new D’Addario EXL125 9 to 46 gauge strings and a leather adjustable strap with Schaller strap locks plus a Solid Custom plush lined Hard Case!
Postage cost includes tracking and signature on delivery.
Note: It does not include insurance. Please enquiry for insurance quotation if required!
