Up for sale is a Goldsound Distortion Whau Whau, made in Italy in 1977.
One of the more unusual Italian effects from the late ‘70s, this pedal combines a smooth, expressive wah with a rich and aggressive onboard fuzz. The circuit deliver a distinctive sound that feels raw and vintage, incredibly powerful and super dynamic at the same time.
This example has just been professionally serviced and is in full working order. As part of the service, one potentiometer was replaced to ensure reliable operation. Cosmetically, it’s in excellent condition, especially considering its age, with only minor signs of use.
