One of the rarest Gibson archtop models we have ever seen, this L-5CES from 2001 was undoubtedly a custom order left handed model. Made even better is that it is signed by James Hutchins, famed master luthier of Gibson archtops. This natural finished L-5CES is made of all solid-wood, with a carved spruce top and carved maple back and solid maple rims. The sound is as you'd expect from an electric L-5, warm and perfect for those Wes lines.
Even from 2001, this model is in excellent shape with no major playwear, the frets are in great shape and this one is all set to go. This example is all original minus a replaced bridge tone pot. Weighs 8.1lbs. Serial #23461006, comes with the original case and paperwork.
