Description
Easy to install and use, the only connections required are mains power and a line-level input. The volume control is conveniently located on the front panel, allowing for easy adjustment to match other audio equipment. The integrated design allows for calibration of the amplifiers and speakers as a single unit, ensuring consistent quality.
The minimal-diffraction aluminum enclosure and advanced directivity-controlled waveguide technology are carefully matched and complemented by advanced electronic and amplification circuitry and the latest generation of drivers.
The bass and treble amplifiers each deliver 20W of output power, with very low THD and IM distortion values. The amplification unit also contains a protection circuit that monitors output levels and prevents damage to the speakers, making the system immune to overload.
A 19 mm metal dome tweeter is loaded by an advanced DCW waveguide. The 105 mm woofer is mounted in a new bass-reflex enclosure. Protective grilles are positioned in front of both drivers, and magnetic shielding is standard on the 8020B, which is vital for applications such as video post-production.
Excellent directivity and image accuracy, compact size, and flexible mounting options make the 8020B the perfect monitoring tool for applications ranging from home theaters, digital workstations, and multimedia production to near-field monitoring and mobile recording vans.
