Fender Hendrix Strat, black, made in Mexico 2015. This plays and sounds fantastic. Jimi is king of all Strat players, and this posthumous model honours that legacy. You get some specific nods: reverse slanted neck pickup, mid-60s transition-era gold logo, reverse headstock, and a cool printed neck plate. The neck is a moderate C shape, which feels comfy, and features some subtle flame in the grain when the light catches it right. The pickups come our of the American Vintage line, and they sound fantastic: gooey rich mids, zesty treble and a punchy fast bass. Maybe this will land in the hands of a collector or Hendrix die-hard, but it's a very good candidate to be a daily player too. Just ask the Axis!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks. The back has minor scuffs on the horns and along the bottom edge. The sides have scuffs in the elbow area and dimples near the jack. The front has dimples around the bridge and jack and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
