Check Out this Late 50's Vintage WFL Symphonic Model 6.5x14 Snare Drum in White Marine Pearl in Good Condition!

The wrap is has yellowed some to a nice vintage tint. You can see the condition of the mahogany inner ply and maple reinforcement hoops through the badge hole. Hardware is nickel plated, and the original strainer was replaced by an unbranded model similar to what Ludwig used during the 1960s.

There are extra holes behind the strainer shown in a closeup photo. Heads and snare wires are not original, but the drum tunes up and sounds good as is. Some of the tension rods may have been replaced. The lugs and hoops appear to be original, but I cannot say for certain.

This drum recently came from an estate sale and belonged to a long-time collector. It was stored in a climate controlled spare bedroom. I do not know the history or usage beyond that. However, they appear to have been taken care of by the previous owner!

Don't Let This Great Drum Pass You By!
