This is a vintage 1978 Ibanez 2700 Artist model, built in Japan with a Dark Stain gloss finish over the multi-wood laminate and neck-thru body. The guitar is extensive in its electronics with Super 88 humbuckers, a 3-band EQ and two Tri-Sound switches. The guitar has a good amount of bucklerash on the back of the body, scratching on the pickup covers and tarnished hardware. The tone pot remains slightly scratchy even after a thorough spraying of contact cleaner. The strap buttons have been replaced over the years, and it includes the original case.
