Gretsch 2022 G9520E Gin Rickey
Excellent as new condition
Includes Gigbag
The Gretsch G9520E Gin Rickey is a vintage-inspired, low-cost parlor-sized acoustic-electric guitar known for its bluesy tone and comfortable playability. It is a popular, entry-level instrument suitable for a variety of playing styles
Body:
The guitar has a parlor-sized, X-braced body made entirely of basswood, which contributes to its resonant, albeit not super loud, acoustic voice. It features aged white binding and a single-ply aged white pickguard with a "G" graphic. The finish is a "Smokestack Black" semi-gloss.
Neck and Fingerboard:
It has a "C"-profile nato neck that joins the body at the 12th fret. The walnut fingerboard has a 12" radius, 18 vintage-style frets, and pearloid dot inlays. The scale length is a short and comfortable 24 inches
Electronics:
A key feature is the pre-installed Gretsch Deltoluxe magnetic soundhole pickup, which transforms the guitar from a casual strummer to a versatile, amplifiable instrument. Reviewers note that when amplified, it can sound more like an electric guitar than a typical acoustic with a piezo pickup.
Hardware:
The guitar is equipped with vintage-style open-gear die-cast tuning machines and a top-load walnut bridge with a compensated synthetic bone saddle for even intonation.
