Aaaand another original TS-808 available for sale, still from 1980.
This one has the Malaysian RC4558P chip
It got it all.Fully original « R » logo from 1980, Maxon board (nichicon capacitors dated from mid 1980, green resistors, original pots and switch). Never messed with.
Switch pass well, pots don’t crackle.Sounds great.
Cosmetically, i only state it as "good" condition, cause I generally don't like bullshit realistic statements . Considering some original don't have paint anymore or often way more busted than that, it's in good condition for an original TS-808, but it has some paint chips here and there.
I guess pictures are good enough to see everything there is to see.
Only complaint would be battery clip "mechanism" (plastic "spring"), that is a bit tired and makes battery clip loose; didn't want to force to reform it a bit, but I'm pretty sure it can be done with a little bit of heat
