Our new bridge for bass guitars and archtops to get that super-hip rubber bridge vibe that started over at Old Style Guitar Shop in LA. Sounds nice and thud-tastic and you can dial the intonation in pretty well this way, which is a nice bonus compared with having a straight rubber bridge. Bridges will ship within one week of ordering.
This version is for flat top guitars and basses like Harmony Stratotones, Bobkats, H22 Basses, Kay Vanguards, lots of acoustic guitars with trapeze tailpiece/floating bridge combos, etc. If you need an archtop base, check our other listings.
The lowest these will adjust is about .75" (or 3/4") from the guitar's body to the top of the rubber saddle. If you remove the height adjustment wheels from the posts, you can get these as low as .68". Please measure your existing bridge height to make sure this will work for your setup. See last photo for an example of how to measure.
In the demo video, I've got one of our rubber bridges on a Harmony Stratotone.
You'll want to use flatwound strings for best response and better “thunk”. The saddle on ours is made from industrial rubber with high durability and corrosion resistance so it should last a long time with flatwound strings.
