The new single coil pickup was re-engineered specifically for this 5-string bass, the pickup is comprised of two blade magnets that angle further out towards the B-string to work at a wider magnetic field, which offers an even deep tone across all 5 strings.

Other improvements include slightly wider string spacing, as well as a wider neck, providing effortless play throughout the neck. A Schaller 3D-5 bridge gives this bass fully customizable intonation.
