For sale is a custom  assembly of tapped pickups which replicate the tones of the classic Schecter 500t pickups with a nice twist. the older pickups were kind of dark and middy. The top end has been enhanced  and the taps made slightly asymmetric for better balance.

I have had originals and also other replicas, and find that these are much more versatile insofar as not requiring completely different amp settings from your other single coil guitars. the output of these is equal and if not more than the originals and have that classic bell-like chime associated with mark knopfler.

the originals command ridiculous prices because they are scarce and recently saw one sell for over $1600..... ridiculous. these capture the tone and versatility of the originals, for a fraction of the price.

I have done away with the aluminium, or brass plate as they add significant weight of the guitar and also are microphonic . (brass plates also make your hands go black)

the assembly is totally handmade including the pickups. comprises all you see in the photos, pots, switches, all wires and ready to drop in your strat. the parchment pickguard is shielded as per the photo.

other guard colours are available and can be made to order, pleae note that this will incur two weeks leadtime. please inquire if you want anything other than what you see in the photos, I am always willing to take on a challenge.
