The RG Genesis collection is a recreation of the old Japanese made RG550s of the past. It's body is constructed of basswood, a very popular tone wood for guitars with locking trem systems in the 80s. it is lightweight with an exceptional midrange response, especially when paired with Humbucking pickups.
