Stateside mega rare all original early non bored type Wetzel Capsule. Mic sounds fantastic. Wait on the new “____ “ tube mic with modern “____ “ capsule made ”(anywhere but china)” and buy one from the man that arguably invented the m7 capsule. I don’t want to argue, but the forums do. This mic casts a wide net. Proximity effect is unusually light, because of the cathode follower design from what I understand, would love to be schooled on this statement though if anyone has some insight. This mic is fully serviced and currently working on testing the best sounding (possibly switchable?) old output transformer/s from the powersupply. Will update listing with findings etc.
