Here for sale we have a Guild S-100 Polara Electric Guitar in Gloss Black finish. Made in Korea in 2021, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Guild Adjusto-Matic bridge, Grover open-gear vintage-style tuners, a Guild Anchored tailpiece, and a set of Guild Anti-Hum Dual-Coil Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. 

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Vintage Soft 'U' profile filling the hand without being cumbersome, providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The dual cutaway body design offers the player unobstructed access to the higher register, perfect for those quick lead lines.

This guitar comes equipped with a set of Guild Anti-Hum Dual-Coil Humbuckers and a very impressive amount of tonal options. The Guild Anti-Hum Dual-Coil  bridge pickup is nice and hot, and can handle a pretty serious amount of gain when called upon. The Anti-Hum Dual-Coil  neck pickup has rounded creamer tones great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz style lines, whilst also handling higher gain settings masterfully, offering plenty of room for tonal sculpting.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the headstock demonstrate light to mild scratching, these can be seen under direct light as is common with gloss finishes. The sides demonstrate a light indentation between the G and B string tuners.

Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck displays light scratching throughout the register, this is most apparent to the early register, this is only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. Light scratching is present to the fingerboards, these can only be seen under close scrutiny and can not be felt in the playing position. 

Body: Overall very good condition. Light to mild scratching and marking is present to all aspects of the body which can be seen under direct light at close scrutiny, this is most apparent to the rear face near the strap button and scattered around the bass side of the front face.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. 

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (7mm socket) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light to mild tarnishing is present to all aspects of the metal hardware, this is most apparent to the pickup covers and bridge consistent with past use in high contact areas. Mild fine scratching and scuffing is apparent to the pickguard, these can be seen under direct light, consistent with past use.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
