Mesa Boogie Subway Rocket combo, made in USA 96-99. This is a really great little amp, there's a lot to like. The clean channel offers that thick, Fender-esque clarity that's equal parts responsive and warm. Flick over to drive, and you get a bluesy, warm and touch sensitive crunch... tasty. When you kick it into 'Contour' mode, that dials in that classic saturated, compressed high-gain tone that made Mesa famous. This punches well beyond it's very practical size; there's way more volume and fullness on offer than you'll ever need. These weren't made for a long time and certainly don't pop up on this side of the globe, which is a shame, as it's superb. All the practicality of a big multi-channel Boogie in a fits-in-the-boot box.
