This is as close to a pm1000 as you can get In small format. Here's a mid-70's Yamaha PM-400 analogue 8-channel mixing console. The console was designed for live sound reinforcement and small-format recording. It's known for having discrete transformer balanced high-headroom mic preamps and discrete inductor based, EQ and routing.
This is the only fully discrete small format mixer with all inputs and outputs being transformer balanced that Yamah made.
