The speaker cabinet emulations contained within Iridium deliver a level of realism never before heard. This unit employs the finest stereo 24-bit 96kHz & 500msec impulse response data. Until now, this level of resolution was only available in a limited number of studio recording software (convolution). Iridium makes it possible to bring the highest quality IR realism right onto your pedalboard.

■ Adjustable room ambience
Iridium's room emulation employs a hybrid system that combines a 256msec impulse response with reverberation tails supplemented by Strymon's reverb algorithm. This allows for perfect reproduction of room ambiences of varying sizes, capturing even the subtle nuances of sound emanating from the speakers and natural reflections.

■Other uses
If you only want to use the amplifier section of the Iridium... Select Cab Bypass mode and connect the output to the return of your guitar amplifier or the input of your power amplifier.
If you only want to use the IR Cab section of the Iridium... Select Amp Bypass mode and connect the output of your preamp or preamp pedal to the Iridium's input.
(The Iridium is used as an amp or cabinet tone, so do not connect its output to a guitar amplifier (input).)
