Up for sale, a Micawber Haystack Octave Mandolin in excellent, 100% original condition, complete with the original hardshell case. This finely-crafted Micawber F-style Octave Mandolin has a full 20” scale length, featuring a spruce top, heavily figured flame maple back and sides, flame maple neck, and bound ebony fingerboard. The tonewood complement yields plenty of detail and punch with a percussive, woody chop. This Haystack Octave Mandolin has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-41 bronze strings and ideal action.

The satin finish highlights tight figuring in the flame maple back and sides, with barely a mark on the body and some light forearm wear on the bass side of the top. The satin on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
