The MXR Duke of Tone Overdrive was rebuilt through a joint development effort between Analog Mike and MXR, based on the ANALOG.MAN gKing of Toneh?a pedal widely regarded as a legendary classic.
During development, Analog Mike?the founder of ANALOG.MAN?personally conducted repeated testing to faithfully reproduce the clear, warm sound of the King of Tone.

Just like the original, it features three control knobs?VOLUME, DRIVE, and TONE?and an OD/BOOST/DIST switch to select the clipping mode.
BOOST mode offers a wide range of applications, from a natural clean boost to a gain booster that drives your amp to its limit. OD mode delivers a superb crunch sound with grit and compression, while DIST mode provides an even deeper drive sound?covering every tone imaginable with a single unit.
It also works wonderfully when set up on a pedalboard and combined with other pedals.
