What Is The Nose Big Foot Expression Pedal?

The Big Foot Expression isn’t like your ordinary expression controller. The Big Foot pedal will control two different expression devices, switching between the two at the press of the toe switch.

This pedal has two TRS outputs to control devices such as the Electro Harmonix, Boss, Strymon, Axe-FX, and more. Most brands do use TRS type connections - check your Owner's Guide for the input type on your device).

Each side of the pedal has an expression connection. When you press hard toe down, the pedal switches the active output connection, with an LED indicating which side is engaged. The tread on the pedal ensures your foot does not slip (see photos).

When using a Wah effect, pitch shift, or boost, this expression pedal is especially great to use.

Switch Adjustment: (Important!)

The toe-switch is set prior to shipping so that it will not interfere with the sweep of the foot control.  In doing so, we feel like it feels better not to be bumping the switch on toe down, or even accidentally press the switch to change channels. With this adjustment, the pedal needs to be on a hard surface or mounted to a pedalboard.  If the pedal is used on carpet, or another soft surface (trampoline, sand, bed, swimming pool, straw, pile-of-clothes, yoga mat, wrestling mat, etc), you may find it hard to press down the switch to change channels.  This can be adjusted.  If you want it easier to press the switch, simply decrease the distance between “toe down” and the switch by adding a small clear bumper on top of the switch, or even adding thick double sided behind the felt piece above the switch, underneath the toe on the foot plate.
