Oahu Tonemaster 50s

This is a vintage lap steel by Oahu. I'm not sure exactly what year this particular one was manufactured but it's within the 50's era. I purchased this in hopes of restoring it into a proper playable condition and I've invested a few hundred dollars into having the pickups rewound, the pots replaced, the binding repaired and an input jack installed. Unfortunately, the pickup issues are not totally fixed and probably needs another rewind or replacement pickups installed. You can plug it in and get some output out of 4 of the 6 strings but the 2 in the middle aren't as loud. I'm selling this because I can't invest any more time and money into this instrument and must let it go. Included in the price is the original case I received it in, the original chord and pots, a vintage slide and a new DUNLOP ERGO TONEBAR 925 chromed steel slide. Also included are a couple of vintage picks, a vintage pack of Black Diamond Lap steel strings, a vintage "Peate's Quick Action Home Course" lap steel book as well as a new Mel Bay Steel Guitar Method book.
