Boss OD-2 Turbo Overdrive (Black Label) 1988

Boss OD-2 for sale. I purchased it in non-working condition as a repair project. Pedal is working good as new. See below for list of repairs.

Original footswitch was broken. Replaced with OEM switch. Works perfectly.

Check LED was physically broken. Replaced with the same size and type of LED.

Replaced one missing knob. Same color but is obviously less worn than the rest of the knobs on this pedal.

Cleaned out and lubricated (with Deoxit) input and output jacks that were rusted almost shut. Was able to keep the original jacks in place.

Replaced blown electrolytic capacitors. will include all of the original caps in a zip bag. Also modified this pedal for 9V PSA operation. No 12V ACA adapter needed. You can use it as you would any modern boss pedal. The diode and resistor that were removed for the PSA mod will also be included along with the capacitors so you can restore the pedal to 12V ACA if you want to.

Last, but not least, I replaced the rubber grommet where the thumbscrew is with a brand new one. It’s a tiny detail, but old boss pedals that go “clack clack!” can be annoying. You won’t have to worry about that with this one.

This pedal was made in 1988 - First year of production for these pedals. It works great and will last easily another 20 years.
