At the heart of the Trem D'Lux
is the legendary 5G9 circuit, sporting two channels, fixed bias power
tube operation, and a hypnotic bias-modulated tremolo. We then took this
classic one step further, loading it with beefed-up transformers and a
5881 power section to deliver 28 watts of pure tube tone.
The 15"
Weber ceramic speaker perfectly complements the circuit with detailed
highs, smooth mids, and full lows. The combination of this efficient
speaker along with fixed bias and a long-tailed phase inverter gives the
Trem D'Lux pedal-friendly headroom without sacrificing its ability to dish out rich tube overdrive when pushed.
