This Eastwood Custom Shop Swinger is a floor model instrument. This guitar has light play wear on the pickguard from in-store customer handling and use.
The Swinger was one of the most obscure guitars ever to come out of the Fender® factory. It was created in 1969 as a way to make use of spare parts left over from the Bass V and the Musicmaster. No more than a few hundred were ever made, never appearing in any of their catalogs or literature. As the Swinger decal peeled off most it was often informally referred to as the Fender® Arrow. There is a detailed article about its history on the Fender® website .
The originals are now selling for $2500-$4000! As rare as they are, musicians like Jimmy Page and Tina Weymouth have taken them to the stage.
The Eastwood Swinger will feature a short 22.7” scale length, one high output single-coil blade pickup in the neck position, single volume and tone controls, and an upgraded 6 saddle fully adjustable bridge.
