This is a fantastic early 60's Mosrite with custom and possibly prototype appointments. It includes a hand-written note from original owner (from whom we bought it from) stating that he purchased it in 1963 from Parier Music in Bakersfield, California and that he had Semi Mosely himself make him a roller bridge for the guitar which is included in the original hard shell case. According to the note, the guitar is 100% original although we believe it may have had some modifications and repairs. It is very hard to verify this since the guitar is unquestionably hand made and exhibits custom appointments. The trem is very clearly hand machined and seems to be a predecessor to the Mosley and Vibramate systems. Tone pot dates to 1958 and volume pot date is not visible. This is an incredible example of an early and highly collectible Mosrite.
