Sounds and plays amazing. See YouTube video below! I paid $3500 for this guitar. Why? He was a relatively unknown luthier in the pac nw, he also made harps and knew what he was doing. I played over 20 of his guitars and picked this one because it was the best sounding guitar I’d ever hear. robust, woody, singing.

Beautiful handmade cutaway classical/Spanish guitar from a Canadian Hans Schmidt luthier that also made harps. There isn’t a lot of info on the internet except that he was very well known for making phenomenal sounding instruments. In the luthier world and among classical guitarists his work is prized and sought after. He knew what he was doing. I’ve played a few of these and each guitar projects so nicely with perfectly balanced tone. But width 53mm, 650mm scale and 0.125” action at 12th fret. It has a dry, airy tone where I swear you can hear the wood tone sing. Brazilian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top and port orford Cedar D shape neck. Awesome tuners too. It’s an amazing piece and so friendly to play and listen to. I’m selling because I also play harp and need a new one. Has a k and k pure classic pickup system installed. Comes with a case too. Really a beautiful guitar with nice trim in excellent condition well taken care of. See my video link to hear it!
