You are viewing a NEW OLD STOCK Austin AU962AB 62' Era Professional Deluxe Telecaster Electric Guitar that was designed to pay homage to the popular Fender Telecaster.åÊ It is solid, well-built, and beautiful!åÊ Classic tele-style bridge with three brass rods.åÊ Standard chrome humbucker surrounded by a cream-color plate at the neck.åÊ Comes with the standard shaped control plate like the telecasters, except the 3-point switch is in-between the two knobs making it less likely to be hit by accident while playing.åÊ Tone knob is push/pull for the humbucker.åÊ Has 21-frets on an unbound neck with a black nut.åÊ No pickguard present so you can appreciate the true beauty of this guitar that is no longer in production.åÊ This guitar has been on display within our store and has a few slight scratches due to being played, but they were so light the camera had problems picking them up.

This guitar is in excellent, new condition with only some slight signs of being played over the years.åÊ It is hard to find this guitar in such great condition these days.åÊ

The AU962 series uses the same bridge assembly as the AU961 models, but in bright chrome finish.åÊ This model uses the same classic WVT-B single-coil pickup in the bridge position for the classic "twang" but is matched to the WVC mini humbucker.åÊ Mini humbuckers have a sound all their own.åÊ It is the perfect cross between the high end of a single-coil and the warmth of a humbucker with the added bonus of no noise.

String ferrules with through-the-body string routing gives added sustain by having a sharper break-over angle at the saddles.
