This is a very special guitar!!! 1968 gold top conversion to 59 flametop done in the 70's..(top stripped and from the look of the holes for the pickups we think this was the top under the gold).....this guitar is all the burst for a fraction of the cost and it destroys all the r9 reissue stuff even the ones we have had as good as they can be they just don't beat this one!! The electronics are all 68 (caps appear to be older...look the caps out of 50's Jrs, but since these came with p90s it hard to say for sure).......aged nickel hardware and kluson single row keys, pickups are a fantastic set of zebra PAF's and they sound great !!........This guitar is very close to our favorite 59!! The guitar comes with a reissue lifton case and it is a burst killer (big bang for the buck and real 40+ years of aging on the finish)!!!!!
