This amazing sounding duo-phonic synth works great as "desk-top module" using midi/cv-gate interface. Original keys were removed in the 1980's due to renovation and are unfortunately missing since..
The synth is modified with CV/gate, CV LPF/HPF Filter CV control, x2 (upper/lower sections). Works great using midi cv/gate keyboard.
It might not be the most aesthetically good looking 800DV/ Maxikorg out there but it sounds and functions great.
Modded with midi control of note/pitch/Gate, Hi-pass/low-pass filter X2) using a Kenton Pro -2000 MKII cv-midi interface (which also has a build in LFO and more), enabling Midi/USB control , either as two separate mono synths of the "upper" and "Lower" sections (i.e, 2 Minikorg 700s/770) or as a duo phonic synth, using the “polyphonic” mode on the Kenton interface. Separate aux/midi control of "upper" and "lower" both CV/gate (notes) and HPF and LPF- filters.
Internally, all components are 100% original and working fine.
It is on sale either as package Synth+Kenton interface or as separate items, depending on price.
I have a basic iPhone-video of the sound, functionality of all sliders, knobs and controls as well as the midi control of the pitch/gate using a sequencer (Reason) to control the synth. (sound start at approx 25 sec in)
