For sale is this vintage 1980 Ibanez Overdrive II OD-855 electric guitar distortion effects pedal. This particular example, serial number 139914, is in very nice all original condition. This variety OD-855 is almost identical to it’s TS-808 successor, sharing a similar schematic and the JC4558P chip. Like its more famous Tube Screamer counterpart, both pedals are incredible at creating beautiful overdrive with rich harmonic overtones. It’s warm, mid-boosted tone is what made it popular with many blues and rock players. This is a very nice example of a rare pedal.
