This is an American made Fender guitar body ( 80s? ) and is in great playing condition. Has a Stewart McDonald neck that has been notched to fit the guitar better ( see picture ). The original neck was damaged. This guitar was signed by the late Clarence " Gatemouth " Brown in 1993. I put clear tape over the signature as it was starting to rub off. It has GFS reverse wound pick ups ... excellent bell like tone ... 5 way switch. It has the original Antiqua pick guard that I painted over with lead shielding paint when I did the cavity. I didn't know it then but the paint krinkled which made for a nice affect while at the same time reducing interference. This guitar has a few chips ( see picture ) but is in great playing condition. Low action. I used to play this just for Voodoo Chile and other Hendrix songs as it looked like Hendrix's guitar but the average person didn't realize that it was just the opposite ... it fooled them. Grover tuners. Rosewood fret board. The crack at the neck pocket is only in the finish ... there are no problems with this guitar. Continental US bidders only please.
