This is a Super Rare Autographed Gibson J-200 Pete Townshend Signature Acoustic Super Jumbo Guitar!
The label inside of the sound hole of this guitar has been
hand-signed by Pete Townshend himself! Only the first 50 of these
guitars were hand-signed & all of the other guitars after the
50th were shipped with no signature. This guitar is definitely for the serious collector and appears to be #26!
Overall this beautiful guitar is in great condition and plays excellent! It really doesnt have much for flaws other than some light scratching and a few dings on the top where it hit a guitar stand (pictured).
The only real visible playwear is just some light fret wear and light
fading of the pick guard graphics as expected of a lightly played
guitar (see pics). There is NO buckle rash, pick wear, etc... This guitar has never been cracked, broken or repaired(see all pics for cosmetics). The back, neck and headstock are nearly perfect, but has a lightly dinged area on the tip of one of the wings (see pics). The original gold Grover Tuners show some extremely minimal discoloration. The neck is straight, truss rod operates as it should, and the playability is great! The guitar also features an LR Baggs Element Active pickup system that operates flawlessly. I took close ups of everything, so take a look (see pics).
Current String Height is under 1/8" at the 12th fret. The neck is straight, and the under saddle electronics operate without issue!!
The
Original Gibson Hard Shell Combination Case in in good shape, with some
scuffs, marks, and flaws here and there from moving it around as
expected. (see pics)
