As part of the Style 28 series of guitars, the Martin 00-28 used Rosewood for its back and sides. Though production ended in 1941, Martin has built a few individual custom 00-28s since. 

Years of Production: 1898 - 1941

Unique to this Era: Martin 28 Style guitars received new bracing for steel-strings starting in 1925.

Wood Composition: Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, Spruce top, Ebony fingerboard
