This is a brand new cable reel. Perfect for coiling electric cords, mic cables, guitar cables, etc. Will hold a 100ft of 16 awg cordage or 50ft of 12 awg electric cordage, (this all is based on standard diameter cordage for electric cable.) Mic/guitar cables are about 20 awg(smaller diameter) so it should accommodate standard length cables. This is a well built reel for the price. The frame is metal and the flanges durable plastic. Lightweight at 2.5 lbs. Good quality, simple, and easy. Made In Taiwan.
