Up for auction is my Fabulous Vintage Favilla Ukulele. This uke is a great player! The action is great and the intonation is near perfect. It was made in New York, NY by the Favilla family who have been making fretted instruments since the 1800s. It's all solid wood. I'm not sure what type of wood it is? Maybe Koa or maple or Monkey pod or possibly/probably birch? If anyone knows ,please let me know. It has an awesome tone and an amazing vintage patina. It appears to be missing the last fret and I think it may have been reglued at the neck and bridge but that does not affect its playability. It does appear to be re-glued in many places on the body. Lower back has a 2" split that goes through the wood (photo#3). Please feel free to ask questions before bidding. International buyers pay extra shipping. Good luck in bidding.
