As you can see in the pics, this rarest vintage Danelectro Bass VI is in lovely, incredible shape. This is a real-deal, genuine Longhorn bass 6, NOT a reissue. NOT a Jerry Jones or 80s remanufacture from old dano parts. This is the real thing. It is in perfect playing and functional condition. The neck is arrow-straight and perfectly intonated, and the machines hold a rock-solid tune. The action is incredibly low and fast, as if the frets are not even there, and the guitar simply plays like a dream; as an instrument of this quality and craftsmanship should. This is a truly amazing instrument, and a fantastic and rare slice of Dano history. Cosmetically, as the photos attest, this guitar is in very good vintage condition, and displays all of the most distinguished and well deserved exterior play wear one would expect of a well loved well cared for and well played instrument of this age and pedigree, including sundry finish wear and a replaced tuning machine, all included at no extra charge.
