Univox UB252 1973 Black

This is an original and a bit of a rarity. The piggy back style bass amp. And note that this is for both pieces. I saw just the head for $100. This dates from the mid 1970's. The speaker cabinet still sounds amazing. I'm going to say that the head doesn't power on. To be honest I believe it's just a fuse, but I can't get to it (that's why I'm not a tech. I stink at it) . This is an American made amp, back when UNIVOX was still in Westbury, NY. It is even before they went to UNICORD. The amp is in good physical condition, especially for the age of it, but even better than some more recent ones. This was my first bass amp, and I used the cabinet for many years later as an extension cab. It still sounds great. I would rather NOT ship it, as it'll be pricey I think...though if you really want it shipped, I will do that for the same price as it costs me.please note. the shipping charge listed is a rough estimate....I would prefer a pickup. If you are in Nassau County, we can meet in the middle (so to speak) but of course i will shop it wherever you want to pay for it to be shipped...thanks....By the way, I am also willing to do some trading, if anyone wants to offer something worthwhile....maybe a nice Epiphone  bass?
