Classic Semi-Hollow guitar with spruce topIn the construction of the Artstar AS113 Ibanez follows the typical specifications for a traditional Semi-Hollow guitar. The narrow body made of laminated maple and the top made of laminated spruce provide a resonant sound with the perfect amount of brilliance. To ensure that the electric semi-acoustic guitar is insensitive to feedback even at high volumes, Ibanez stabilizes the body with a solid centre block. The pleasantly rounded "AS Artstar" profile of the glued Nyatoh maple neck also promises comfortable playing characteristics up to the highest positions of the Macassar ebony fingerboard. Super 58 Alnico HumbuckerAs pickup for the Artstar AS113 Ibanez chooses two Super 58 humbuckers. The low-output humbuckers equipped with Alnico magnets convince with a natural output of the semi-hollow-timbre and elicit a wide spectrum of first-class sounds between jazz, Blues and rock from the guitar amplifier. In addition to the usual series connection, the coils of the neck pickup can be called up via the Tri-Sound Switch in parallel connection and split, so that additional timbres enrich the repertoire of the electric guitar.
