Overview

1963 saw the "Silver Jet" model fold into the Duo Jet line, along with the addition of a number of other sparkle finishes. The Duo Jet still featured the same specs as the 1961 - 1963 version, including Filter'Tron pickups, and the Burns vibrato. Sparkle finishes were discontinued around 1966, and the pickups were upgraded to Super'Trons in 1968.

The Duo Jet was produced alongside the Jet Firebird and features identical specifications aside from color.
