The RØDE NT1-A is a large-diaphragm, side-address cardioid condenser microphone built around a 1-inch gold-sputtered, edge-terminated capsule. Its standout specification is a self-noise figure of just 5.0 dB(A), making it exceptionally quiet and well-suited to vocals, acoustic instruments, and any source where capturing fine detail without added hiss is a priority. It handles peaks up to 137 dB SPL, offering headroom for louder sources, and connects via a standard 3-pin XLR connector, requiring 24-48V phantom power.
