Roland MS-1 Digital Sampler – Vintage Phrase Sampler – Untested – Sold As-Is
Up for sale is an original Roland MS-1 Digital Sampler.
This came as part of a private collection of vintage Roland electronic music equipment. Unfortunately I don’t have the knowledge, cables or studio setup required to test it properly, so it is being sold strictly as untested.
Please assume it may require servicing or repair before use.
Cosmetically it is in good vintage condition for its age. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description and satisfy yourself as to the overall condition before purchasing.
I have not opened the unit or attempted any repairs or modifications.
Sold strictly as-is with no returns, as I cannot verify its functionality. I’d rather describe it honestly than make assumptions about its working condition.
The MS-1 is a compact 16-bit digital sampler that has gained a loyal following for its straightforward workflow and distinctive lo-fi character. I also have other Roland gear available: TR-909, TR-606, and TB-303, which all came from our late uncle's personal collection.
