These AMI S10430 40 pin Divider/Keyer chips are unobtainium but I have a handful available from a working unit.
When they fail, your stringer will be left with one or more duff notes across multiple octaves. This afflicts the Korg Lamba ES-50, Korg Delta DL-50, Roland RS-09 and Roland RS-505.
Often you will need the skills and tools to cleanly de-solder a 40 pin chip so this isn't for the light-hearted.
